Joyce Blanchard's Obituary
Joyce M. Blanchard, 69, of Tolland Stage Rd., Tolland, CT, died Thursday, April 13, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT. She was born in South Barre, VT, daughter of the late Levi and Dorothy (Wilkin) Blanchard. Joyce retired from the former RayTech Industries as a shop assembler. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Stafford Springs, CT. Joyce is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Peter Ostrowski of Stafford Springs, CT; a grandson, Aaron Blanchard and his wife Eva of Storrs, CT; a great granddaughter, Erin; a brother, Bill Blanchard and his companion Kim Mears of Stafford Springs, CT; a brother-in-law, Chester Korner of Willington, CT; a sister-in-law, Anne Owens of North Carolina; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her friends at Winding River Village. She was predeceased by a brother, Dean Blanchard, and a sister, Barbara Korner. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 1 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church, Church St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be private in Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington, CT.
