Judith D. Howlett's Obituary
Judith (DaDalt) Howlett, 84, of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late Carlos "Carl" Howlett, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026. Born in Stafford Springs, CT, she was the daughter of the late Dino and Anne (Mandak) DaDalt. Judy was a lifelong resident of Stafford Springs, CT and a graduate of Stafford High School, Class of 1960. She worked as a secretary for many years until her retirement and was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Judy will be remembered for her kind heart, quiet strength, and devotion to her family, friends, and church. She found great joy in spending time with those she loved, and she had a special place in her heart for her beloved fur babies, Cinderella and Apache.
She is survived by her siblings, Janet Desloge, David DaDalt, and Debbie (DaDalt) Wilson and her husband, Jeffrey; her nieces and nephews, Susan Case, Richard Desloge, Cindy Desloge, Nicole Messeck, Cory Messeck, and Michelle Messeck; several great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as many cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, Judy was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Richard Desloge.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 11:30 AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 West Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 West Main St., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
