Julia Carocari's Obituary
Julia B. Carocari, 93, of Ledyard, CT and formerly of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late Aldo Carocari, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in Norwich, CT. She was born in Stafford, CT, daughter of the late Francis and Matilda (Scepka) Spusta. Julia was a member of St. Edward Parish, charter member of the World War II Glider Pilots Association, and volunteered for many years at the Stafford Thrift Shop. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Jones and her husband Oliver of Ledyard, CT; two granddaughters, Abbey and Erin; a sister, Jane Hollay of Tolland, CT; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five siblings, Rose Millix, Paul Spusta, Matilda Festi, William Spusta, and John Spusta. Her funeral will be held on Friday, May 1, 2009 with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St. Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
