Julia Gianantoni's Obituary
Julia Gianantoni, 98, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Elmo J. Gianantoni, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Evergreen Health Care Center. She was born in Millers Falls, MA, daughter of the late John and Katherine (Malek) Szenher. Julia had worked as a lab technician at Johnson Memorial Hospital, and was a member of St. Edward Church and the Ladies Guild. She is survived by her four daughters, Maryann Gianantoni, Kathy Deprey, Nanette Brawer and her husband Lonnie, and Joan Rossi and her husband Thomas; eight grandchildren, Christina, Mariann, Michael, Andrew, Jesse, Daniella, Eryn, and Jason; six great grandchildren, Liana, Jeremiah Jerome, Daniel, Benjamin, Miles, and Maya; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph; three sisters, Mamie Jalicki, Toni Szenher, and Ruth Schultz; and son-in-law, Jerry Deprey. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT.
