Julie Sellers' Obituary
Julie M. Sellers, 88, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at her home. She was born in Staffordville, CT, daughter of the late Joseph F., Sr. and Mary (Kafka) Simons. Julie had worked 25 years for Johnson Woolen Company without taking a sick day, and retired from Home Pride Provisions of Stafford. She was an avid bingo player, bowler, and golfer, excelling in all those activities. Julie has taken her special meekness with her, and leaves behind an emptiness for many. She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Dock R. Sellers; brother, Donald Simons; sister, Anna Putney and her husband Ralph; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her special friends, Andre Descheneua, Wally and Zenna Brisson, Ann Maynard, and Doris Scalia. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph F. Simons, Jr.; and sister, Mary Simons. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 2 P.M. at St. Edward Cemetery, West Stafford Rd., Stafford Springs, CT.
