June (Kafka-Barrows) Hnath, 70, of Willington Ave., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Stephen and Anna (Sisolak) Kafka. June previously owned Calico and Denim children’s clothing store in Tolland, CT, and also worked at the former Hartford Times as a journalist, as well as being a licensed therapist for over 30 years. June is survived by her beloved husband of 20 years, Edward G. Hnath; three children, Donald Barrows and his companion Roseanne Fitzgerald of Willington, CT, Stephen Barrows of Vermont, and Darlene LaPointe of Tolland, CT; three grandchildren, Amy, Amber, and Autumn; one sister, Anna Kafka of East Windsor, CT; and several nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Souza. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 10 A.M. at the Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 6–8 P.M. at the funeral home.
