Justin S. Herbik's Obituary
Justin S. Herbik, 52, of Myrtle Beach, SC, and formerly of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away unexpectedly on July 8, 2023. He was born in Manchester, CT on July 23, 1970 to James and Rita (Della Bella) Herbik. Justin graduated from Stafford High School and went on to learn a trade in welding, becoming an iron worker for Local 15. As a lover of nature, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking. Justin was also an avid reader and a man of simple means. He struggled with addiction for many years and, unfortunately, it finally got the best of him. Throughout life, giving to others in need was important to him. As an organ donor, he accomplished this. Justin leaves his mother, Rita Della Bella; brother, Michael Herbik; aunt, Angie Hunziker; cousin, Peter Hunziker and family in Colorado; nieces, Avery Herbik and Peyton Herbik of Michigan; and close friend, Jamie Otis and her daughter Zahira of Myrtle Beach, SC, whom he simply adored. Justin was predeceased by his father, James Herbik; brother, Jeremy Herbik; paternal grandparents, Stephen and Anna Herbik; maternal grandparents, Antonio and Cesira Della Bella; uncles, Frank and Livio Della Bella; cousin, John Hunziker; and cousin, Penny Light.
