Katherine Harris' Obituary
Katherine Muriel Harris, 94, of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late Daniel Harris, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Elmhurst, NY, daughter of the late Frederick and Katherine (Ossmann) Heckmann. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Stafford Grange No. 1, and the Order of the Eastern Star. Muriel is survived by a sister-in-law, Joyce Heckmann; and two nieces, Kathy Quinn and her family, and Frannie Greenberg and her family. Funeral services and burial will be held privately. The family would like to thank the many hospice volunteers and staff that provided care for Katherine over the past year.
