Katherine V. Leahy, 99, of Stafford Springs, CT, and formerly of Fairfield, CT, wife of the late Edward J. Leahy, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Brid Read Obituary
Such a wonderful person. I have truly been blessed to have known her these past few years, along with my extended family. The times we shared and the life she shared with us will give her a well-deserved immortality in our lives and hearts.
Katherine was a wonderful person and it was a blessing to have known her. My young sons were very sad to hear of her passing and will always remember her kindness in letting them sit on her walker and play with the bicycle bell. I will always remember her cheerfulness and we will miss having her with us for holiday celebrations.
Katherine was a courageous and elegant lady whose kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be sorely missed, but heaven will shine a bit brighter.

Katherine was a wonderful lady. I'm so glad to have had a chance to become her friend while being a part of the VFW Ladies Aux. My condolences go out to her family.
