Katherine M. Pratt's Obituary
Katherine M. Pratt, 65, of Cromwell, CT, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 22, 2016. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Robert J. and Eileen (Ward) Pratt. Kathy was a very generous, caring, and loving person to all that knew her. She loved sports, art, playing billiards, buying and selling real estate, and her beach house in Charlestown, RI. After graduating from college, she worked as a computer programmer at INS, then founded her own company, The Ward Computer Consultants, Inc., and was self employed for 25 years. Kathy leaves behind her beloved siblings, Noreen Passardi and her husband Fred, Karen Barrett and her husband Gary, Thomas Pratt, Mary Jane Minor and her husband Matthew, Robert J. Pratt, Jr., and Michael Pratt; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Besides her parents, Kathy was predeceased by her brother, James Pratt; and sister, Rene Bruce. The family thanks Kathy’s best friends, Irene Scheibner and Edward Esposito, and her favorite health aide, Teresa, for their devoted care and attention to her needs. Kathy is truly missed by all. Calling time will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 3:00 – 4:30 P.M. with a funeral service to take place at 4:30 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathy’s name may be made to a charity of choice.
