Keith S. Lamelin's Obituary
Keith Stephen Lamelin, 67, of Vernon, CT, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025. He was born in Warwick, RI, son of Virginia (Blais) McNellis and the late Richard A. Lamelin. Keith had worked as a mechanic his whole life and was a master at his profession. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, golfing, baseball and collecting baseball cards and memorabilia. He was also a diehard Boston Red Sox and New York Giants fan. His love and passion of sports was passed down across the family. Keith was a genuine guy, and he told it like it was. Underneath his tough exterior Keith was a goodhearted character, had a good work ethic and witty sense of humor. His rascally comments and jokes at family gatherings will be sorely missed. Besides his mother, Virginia, Keith is survived by his four children, Julie Murray and her husband Lou, Jessica Lamelin, Steven Lamelin and his wife Amanda, and Kevin Lamelin and his wife Amber; eight grandchildren; a great granddaughter; five siblings, Michael Lamelin and his wife M.J., Mark Lamelin and his wife Susan, Rosemary Pagani and her husband Michael, Richard P. Lamelin and his wife Raquel, and Kim Lamelin and her husband John Morianos; several nieces and nephews; his step-mother, Nancy Lamelin; two step-brothers, Roddy and Scott MacDonald; and his step-sister, Stacy MacDonald. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 3:00-5:00 P.M., with a funeral service to take place at 5:00 P.M., at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to the National MS Society, P.O. Box 91891, Washington, D.C. 20090-1891.
