Keith W. Post's Obituary
Keith W. Post passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025, his 55th birthday, at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT.
Born in Putnam, CT, he was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Kenneth and Patricia (Ward) Post, and is now reunited with them.
Keith graduated from Suffield Regional High School Vocational Agriculture Program. A member of the FFA organization and Sentinel for his local chapter in his senior year of high school.
For many years Keith enjoyed being a team member of the Enfield Allstars Special Olympic Sports Team. Â Bringing home many medals while playing soccer and basketball. He enjoyed many of their social activities, fundraising walks, end-of-the-season picnics and most of all, the Christmas dinners.
Keith worked as a custodian in a State of CT office building for over 20 years, where he made many lifelong friends. It was because of these friendships that Keith was able to have personal growth and lead a wonderful, fulfilled life. He appointed himself as the “activity director” and planned after work gatherings. He loved being surrounded by so many people, joining him by wearing special shirts and hats, celebrating each holiday. He was a social butterfly and had thousands of pictures to show for it.
Keith had many loves in his life, it’s hard to say what is first: Bruce Springsteen, the UConn Huskies basketball teams, Kenny Rogers, the Boston Red Sox, New York Giants, or cows?  He had a favorite sport for every season and the t-shirts to match! When his favorite professional team was doing poorly, he would say “oh well, I guess they will be playing golf pretty soon!”Â
Keith had a unique relationship with everyone that he knew. His directness and jokes (if you were the select few that were allowed to joke with him) gave us many laughs. His daily text messages and reminders will be greatly missed.
Keith is survived by his two brothers, Kenneth Post, Jr. (Kimberly) and Kevin Post; his sister Karen Dziarkowski; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends Lisa, Lauri, Sarah, and many other friends who brought so much joy to his life these past few years. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, George Dziarkowski.
The family would like to thank Woodlake at Tolland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their special care.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, with a service at 12:00 PM, at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Stafford, CT.
