Kelly Ferguson's Obituary
Kelly Marsh Ferguson, 62, of Ashford, CT, died on Monday, July 30, 2012 at his home. He was born on January 21, 1950, the second son of the late Lawrence B. and Mildred (Mahoney) Ferguson. A graduate of St. Luke's School in New Canaan and the University of Connecticut, he worked for eleven years as a USPS letter carrier. Being a self-taught computer hobbyist, he later became a computer network administrator in Stamford before moving to Ashford. Along with his surviving wife, Renee Thompson, he was an avid cat lover. Anyone who visited their home would quickly see their love for cats in Renee's paintings and memorabilia. In addition to Renee, Kel is survived by his brother, Larry Ferguson and his wife Chris of Portland, OR; and several nieces and nephews. A private family service is planned for later in the month. Memorial donations may be made in Kel's name to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
