Kenneth J. Barstis, 48, of West Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2008. Ken is survived by his parents, James R. and Lorraine (Johndrow) Barstis of Vernon, CT; his loving companion of 19 years, Diane M. Scott of Stafford Springs, CT; two children, Mary and Gary Scott; a granddaughter, Marion Scott; his brother and sister, Stephen and Debra Barstis of Vernon, CT; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., P.O. Box 1004, Meriden, CT 06450.
