Kenneth "Butch" J. Armelin's Obituary
Kenneth “Butch” J. Armelin, 71, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Peter and Virginia (Willcutt) Armelin. Butch worked for many years as a meat cutter, most recently at Adams IGA. He was a member and firefighter at the West Stafford Fire Department. He enjoyed woodworking and carpentry, and could build or fix anything. He was also an avid NASCAR fan. Butch is survived by his two children, Brian Armelin and Wendy Armelin-Barron and her husband Brian; three grandchildren, Kenley, Alanna, and Alex; sister, Phyllis Righenzi; sister-in-law, Mabel Armelin; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Peter Armelin. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 1-2 P.M., with a funeral service to take place at 2 P.M., at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
