Kenneth Duquette's Obituary
Kenneth V. Duquette, 83, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Evergreen Health Care Center. He was born in Three Rivers, MA, son of the late Andrew and Alice (Plummer) Duquette. Ken served his country in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, and retired from Warren Woolen Company as a maintenance worker. He was a member of the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion, V.F.W. Post No. 9990 of Stafford, Wolcott Lodge No. 60 AF & AM, and BPOE # 1359 of Rockville. Ken is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Vassau) Duquette; seven children, Patsy Gillie of NC, Andrew Duquette and his wife Susan of AZ, Darlene LaBrecque of CA, Rick Duquette, Dorraine Parker and her husband Ed, Lynette Blanchard and her husband Keith, and Allen Chapman, Jr. all of Stafford Springs, CT; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three siblings, Judy Ambrosi of Tolland, CT, Alan Duquette and his wife Wanda of Wales, MA, and Terry Panciera of Stafford Springs, CT; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Edwin Duquette. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 5-8 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A graveside service with Military Honors will take place on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 10 A.M. at Stafford Springs Cemetery, Monson Rd., Stafford Springs, CT.
