Kenneth Fiore's Obituary
Kenneth Fiore, 91, of West Stafford Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, beloved husband of the late Eleanor P. (Driscoll) Fiore, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2006 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. He was born in Providence, RI, son of the late Valentino and Ines (Concato) Fiore. Ken was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was the owner/operator of the Puritan market and then Fiore's Laundromat, from which he retired. Ken was a member of St. Edward Parish, and honorary lifetime member of the Italian Benefit Society and the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion. He was also an avid sailor and Boston Red Sox fan. Ken is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael T. and Diane P. Fiore, and Thomas J., Esq. and Wilma Fiore; a grandson, Brett M. Fiore, all of Stafford Springs, CT; five step grandchildren, Cathy Torrisi, John Cheman, Tammy Cheman, Carolina Cadena, and Belen Cadena; a brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Phyllis Concato of Woodstock, CT; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 from 9-10:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT.
