Kenneth D. Ireland's Obituary
Kenneth Darryl Ireland, age 35, originally of Tolland, CT passed away unexpectedly at home with the love of his life on Saturday, June 29, 2024. Patricia (Parzych) Barclay and Ronald Ireland brought a man with a golden heart into this world on December 18, 1988 at Manchester Hospital. Kenny graduated from Tolland High School in 2007, where he was known for being a respectful, caring, funny, loving individual. Kenny loved all sports, especially football. You will never find a more avid, dedicated and loyal, Cowboys Fan, even though he knew being a Dallas fan was never easy! Ken had this amazing charisma and charm that touched so many hearts. He touched so many people’s hearts just for being himself, Kenny. He always knew how to swing anything in his favor (like when he was a junior and convinced his sophomore teacher to let him go on the sophomore field trip!). He was a master of all trades and an extremely hard worker. He loved creating unique things and working with his hands so naturally landscaping and construction were job fields that he loved working in. People were drawn to Ken, making it easy for him to make friends everywhere he went. Ken had an unexplainable, amazing charisma and natural charm that allowed him to extend his love to many people. Kenny’s love and compassion for others was just a true testament to who Kenny was as a person. He touched many hearts in his short time on this earth. He married on September 9, 2017, and always made it a priority to make the world know how much he adored his wife and daughter. Kenny was the biggest “mama’s boy” you’ll ever meet and had no shame in letting it show. Everyone who met Kenny loved him just because he was KENNY!
Kenny is survived by his loving wife, Shennae Ireland and their daughter, Cassidy Ireland. He is also survived by his mother, Particia Barclay (and her husband Michael Barclay) and his father Ronald Ireland (and his wife Kimberly Klei-Ireland), his siblings, Elizabeth Ireland, Leslee Barrows and Cecil Barrows and Carolyn Klei, as well as his paternal grandfather, Phillip Ireland, step-grandfather, Herbert Klei and his step father Scott Barrows along with his uncle, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-cousins as well as many other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Verna Ireland and Barbara Bailey.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a memorial service beginning at 7:00 PM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to https://gofund.me/b7e270c2.
