Kevin M. Ball's Obituary
Kevin M. Ball, 73, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. He was born in Long Beach, NY, son of the late Chester and Mary (Lloyd) Ball. He lived on Long Island for many years, where he met his wife Gail (Galasso) Ball. Kevin worked as a respiratory therapist for over 40 years, working at many hospitals in both New York and Connecticut including Glen Cove, NY, Hartford Hospital, Manchester Hospital, and as a per diem at facilities throughout Connecticut. Later in life he retrained as a paralegal, and was employed by a Hartford/NYC law firm. As a retiree he found great pleasure in working at Big Y in Stafford, where he enjoyed interacting with older customers. Kevin is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gail; son, Collen Ball; sister, Marie Foote; brothers, Daniel Ball, Vincent Ball, John Cruise and Frank Cruise; and multiple nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson, Alaine Nitch-Ball; and brother, Steve Cruise. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 10 AM at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow the Mass at West Stafford Cemetery.
