Laura Friedrich's Obituary
Laura (Rizzo) Friedrich, 67, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Hartford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Angeline (Mancuso) Rizzo.
Laura retired from TTM Technologies, where she worked in clerical services for many years. She found great joy in spending time outdoors on camping trips with her husband, Bob, and their beloved dog, Toby. An avid sports fan, Laura could always be found cheering on her sons and grandchildren from the sidelines, camera in hand, capturing countless cherished memories. Above all else, Laura's greatest joy was her family. Her love, devotion, and unwavering support will be remembered by all who knew her.
Laura is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Bob Friedrich; her sons, Russ Friedrich and his wife, Ashley, and Matt Friedrich and his girlfriend, Laurie Fijal; her cherished grandchildren, Natalie, Noah, Ava, Cora, Caleb, and Abby; her siblings, Anthony Rizzo and his wife, Gaye, Paula Glofka and her husband, Ed, Lucianne Rizzo and her partner, Tim Kiniry, Theresa Santapaola and her husband, Sal, Lynne Rizzo, and Michael Rizzo, Jr. and his wife, Dot. She also leaves behind her longtime friend, Sonya, and special friend/angel, Sherry, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend Laura's funeral service on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
