Laura M. Nicol's Obituary
Laura M. Nicol, 70, mother of the late Mike Nicol, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 16, 2024. She was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Clarence and Theresa (Millette) Anderson. Laura worked as a clerk at the Big Y in Stafford Springs. She had a love for flea markets and craft fairs. She also enjoyed spending time with her dear friend Mara Donahue at the Legion in her hometown. Laura is survived by her three siblings, Nancy Young, Cindy St. George, and Brenda Anderson; and her nephew, Shane Degray and his fiancé Brandy Devaux. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM at the American Legion Post No. 26, 10 Monson Rd., Stafford Springs, CT.
