Lawrence Passardi's Obituary
Lawrence Passardi, 92, of Park St., Stafford Springs, CT, died Sunday, April 30, 2006 at Rockville General Hospital, Rockville, CT. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Louis and Fermina (Spallacci) Passardi. Lawrence retired from Amerbelle Corp. as chief mechanic. He was a member of St. Edward Parish and Honorary Life member of the Italian Benefit Society. He also enjoyed gardening and was referred to as an artist of stainless steel crafting by his family. Lawrence is survived by his loving wife of 66 years as of April 29, 2006, Julia (Majnich) Passardi of Stafford Springs, CT; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Frederick Arnold, Sr. and Donna and Edward Ricard, all of Ellington, CT; four grandchildren, Julie Arnold and her companion Randy Stewart, Frederick Arnold, Jr. and his wife Kitty, Edward Ricard and his wife Rachel, and Shannon Berry and her husband Christopher; a great granddaughter, Amanda Arnold; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Leo Passardi and Charles and Viola Passardi, all of Stafford Springs, CT; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and William Lordi of New York and Margaret and Edward Niemitz of Stafford Springs, CT; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by two sisters, Edith Maltempo and Mary Maski. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2006 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
