Leon C. Ouellette's Obituary
Leon C. Ouellette, 62, of Stafford Springs, CT, died early Monday morning October 2, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center after a month-long hospitalization. He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Karen (Kraussmann) Ouellette, his precious daughters, Emily and Christina, his adored grandson, Forrest, and too many hats, jackets, and pens. He was predeceased by his parents, Leon and Mary (Atwood) Ouellette, from Quincy, MA, and his baby brother, Clifford. Leon was a graduate of Brookline (MA) High School, and Johnson and Wales University Culinary Arts Program. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserves. Leon was a good, kind man with a corny sense of humor, who enjoyed making people laugh, even while he was in the hospital. He enjoyed his job, delivering baked goods for Diana's Bakery, and took pride in providing for his much-loved family. He loved Jesus, spending quality time with his wife, and wrestling and snuggling with his grandson.
