Leona Campanelli's Obituary
Leona A. Campanelli, 80, of Hydeville Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, died Monday, September 11, 2006 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late William and Frances (Toberman) Wochomurka. Leona was employed at Johnson Memorial Hospital for 30 years as a nurse's aid. After retiring, she continued providing home health care services. She was a member of the Staffordville Congregational Church. She had a loving family and enjoyed spending time with them. Leona is survived by her five children, Frank W. Malinosky and Denise Duffy, Audrey R. Hopko and Dave Watkinson, Donna Greene and her husband Schuyler, all of Stafford Springs, CT, Daniel Campanelli and his wife Susan of Colorado, and Diana Campbell and her husband David of Germany; 12 grandchildren, Francis, Valerie, Rebecca, Emily, Kristina, Chandra, Schuyler, Chelsea, Stephen, David, Zachary, and Alexander; three great grandchildren, Christopher, Jayden, and Taylor; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Elaine Wochomurka of Stafford Springs, CT; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her dog Bella. She was predeceased by her first husband, Frank Malinosky, and her second husband, Dominic Campanelli. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 2 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
