Lillian N. Friedrich's Obituary
Lillian N. Friedrich, 93, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Robert E. Friedrich, Sr., passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Vernon, CT, daughter of the late Wesley and Lily (Pfau) Narkon. Lillian, and her late husband, Bob, were the owners of Friedrich’s Jewelry Store, opening in 1947. She was a member of the Stafford Springs Congregational Church, and Order of the Eastern Star Climax Chapter #94 of Merrow. Lillian is survived by her two children, Brenda Friedrich (and her late significant other, Wayne Senecal) and Robert E. Friedrich, Jr. and his wife Laura; two grandsons, Russell and Matthew Friedrich; six great grandchildren; and two siblings, Glenwood Narkon and Judith Grimaldi. She was predeceased by two siblings, Norman Narkon and Barbara Welz. Services with burial in Grove Hill Cemetery, Rockville, CT, will be held privately. The family wishes to thank Lillian’s caretakers, especially Kathie Hartley, for all of their service and attention over the past few years.
