Lillian C. Little's Obituary
Lillian (Clukey) Little, 90, of Ashford, CT, passed away at home surrounded by family on February 16, 2020. Lillian lived a good, long life, full of love and family. Lillian was born in Island Falls, ME on September 30, 1929. Lillian made Willington, CT her home from 1958 to 2014. Lillian was predeceased by her husband of over 60 years, Delbert Little, of Willington, CT, her daughter, Diane (Little) Culhane, her parents, Albert and Lillian Clukey of ME, and sister, Geneva Hartin Alexander of ME. Lillian was so very loved by her family, brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Hilda Clukey of ME, two sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene and Elizabeth Little and Steven and Kathleen Little, all of Ashford, CT. Lillian adored her six grandchildren and their families, Tanya Little Maki of Willington, CT, Amy Little of Manchester, CT, Scott Little of Manchester, CT, Melissa Nechitilo of East Granby, CT, Shelby Masse of Ashford, CT, and Brian Culhane of Seattle, WA. Lillian was so loved and cherished by her great grandchildren, Ashley Little, Hanna Little, Cameron Little, Abigail Nechitilo, Giovanni Nechitilo, Isabella Gustafson, Damian Little, MacKenzie Little, Lucas Little, Emma Maki, and her very special great grand dog, Scout. Lillian has many nieces and nephews, loving friends, and extended family, who will miss her and cherish the memories, always. Lillian enjoyed music, gardening, her daily walks, but most of all, her family and friends. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, Lillian has requested that donations be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (www.nationalbreastcancer.org). The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Hospice and Palliative Care Department of the ECHN Visiting Nurse and Health Services for the loving care they gave to Lillian as well as their support and guidance to the family.
