Dear Cousins, I'm sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. I know she hasn't been well for a long time. I wish I could be there for the funeral, but I am away and can't get back in time. I have not seen any of you in so long, I wouldn't know you. My mother is feeling sad at losing her only sibling. Aunt Lean was always nice to me. She had many hard times in her life, but I think she was quite happy in her later years.

I am so sorry for your loss of such a wonderful woman. I have know Mrs. Mack since I was about 4.I grew up on Schwanda Rd in the same building with the Mack/Glover Family.Many childhood memories have flooded through my mind.She was always carried a smile and a tender way about her. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family!!

I fondly remember a lengthy conversation I had with her in Feb. 2006. My mom was ill, and it was her dream to finally meet her dad's baby sister. You see the McDonald's were very secretive, she never knew the mystery of her family. Mom's father Oscar had passed away when she was only 10. Oscar is the oldest son of William and Marie Moison. William married Sarah later in life, but we don't even know when or where. The secrets I guess will remain with his children, who have since passed on, I wish I had met her.

Almost one year has passed since I lost the best Grandmother in the universe. I was lucky enough to share in her last moments and am honored that I was there. Gram, you still mean so very very much to me! Your smile and sense of humor will never be forgotten. Do you know that I still have your voice on the answering machine- forever I can hear you say I love you and that is so treasured. One of your last words were "I love you All" and that was just you- full of love and kindness! You never forgot a birthday and even to the end would send the birthday cards out! I can only hope that I will grow to become as caring and compassionate as you! I love you Gram, always!! Miss you every single day! Xoxo
