Lisa Cheman's Obituary
Lisa Cheman, 55, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away after a five year battle with breast cancer on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of Edward “Bob” Cercena and the late Charlotte (Murray) Cercena. Lisa worked at Stafford Savings Bank since 1977. Everyone there was like family to her. She was treasurer of the Stafford Little League and the Stafford High School Athletic Booster Club for many years. Lisa liked to travel with Rob and her wonderful friends, go to the beach, hang out with her amazing children, and especially going with Rob on their Sunday morning coffee rides. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Cheman; three children, Linda Paolini, Lori Paolini, and Anthony Paolini and his fiancé Mackenzie; her father, Edward “Bob” Cercena; brother, Ronald Cercena and his wife Jane; sister, Donna Gessay and her husband Norm; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in West Stafford Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Sunday, October 5, 2014 from 2-6 P.M. at the funeral home.
