Lois Gleason's Obituary
Lois A. (Manchester) Gleason, adored mother and friend, died unexpectedly at her home in Wales, MA, on Thursday, August 6, 2009. She was born in Middletown, CT, and graduated from Portland High School, working for years in home party sales, including Coppercraft and House of Lloyd, as well as having owned a store in Caribou, Maine. She also did fundraising for Memory Walk and the Regency House Van Fund in the past. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Gleason, Sr. and son, Robert W. Gleason, Jr. She is survived by a son, William Gleason of Manchester, CT; three daughters, Harmony Gleason-Doolittle of Haines City, FL, Victoria Gleason-Esguerra of East Hartford, CT, and Kathleen Gleason-Fortin of Stafford Springs, CT; her grandchildren, Jennifer Doolittle, Wayne Gregoire, Jr., Stefanie Gregoire, Nicholas Fortin, and Cole Fortin; great granddaughter, Peyton Gregoire; brother, Norman Manchester; two sisters, Loretta Hamilton and Maureen Lastrina; and several nieces and nephews. Her zest for life and love of family will be sorely missed. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2009 from 2-5 P.M. with a funeral service at 5 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
