Lorie A. Usher's Obituary
Lorie A. Usher, 65, of Stafford, CT, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Stafford, CT, she was the daughter of the late John and Regina (Bessette) Hine.
Lorie had a deep love for animals and cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. She enjoyed shopping and was always known for her fondness for all kinds of snacks. Her warm spirit and love for those around her will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Loriann Usher, Diana Usher Finley and her husband Seth, and Michelle Murphy and her husband Michael; her grandchildren, Devin, Gaberial, Christopher, Annibelle, Calob, Savannah, Jacob, and Elaina; her loving companion, Phillip Rancourt; along with many siblings, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Annalise.
At Lorie’s request, there will be no services. Memorial donations may be made to Stafford Animal Control, 80 Upper Rd., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
