Lorraine N. Carr, 96, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Richard L. Carr, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024. She was born in Portsmouth, RI, daughter of the late Parker and Mary (Blackie) McQuarrie. Lorraine is survived by her four children, Sandra Cowles and her husband Randy, Larry Carr and his wife Patricia, Brenda Heidzig and her husband Steven, and Richard P. Carr; four grandchildren, Michael and Angela Cowles, and Stevie and Weston Heidzig; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services with burial in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to the West Stafford Fire Department, 144 West Stafford Rd., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
