Lorraine Kology's Obituary
Lorraine L. Kology, 84, of Westford Ave., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Christian and Irene (Brodeur) Christensen. Lorraine had worked as a customer service representative at the former National Store. She was a member of St. Edward Parish, Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Isabella #785, Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and the Stafford Knitting Club. Lorraine is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Chester W. Kology; her five sons and their spouses, Todd and Diane Kology, Jason and Karen Kology, James and Sally Kology, Brian and Nanette Kology, and Russell and Diane Kology; grandchildren Jeffrey and Megan Kology, Michael Kology, Kelly and Jon Foster, Deanna and Christopher Ielmoni, Stacey and Mike Page, Kristin Kology, Melissa St. James, and Kevin, Nathan, Heather, Wayne, Cole, and Haleigh Kology; numerous great grandchildren; a brother, Bill Christensen and his wife Louise; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, David Kology; a grandson, Christopher Kology; and a brother, Chris Christensen. Her funeral will be held on Monday, January 24, 2011, with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Sunday from 2-5 P.M. at the funeral home.
