Lorraine Satkowski's Obituary
Lorraine G. Satkowski, 78, of Upper Rd., Staffordville, CT, died Sunday, September 10, 2006 at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late John and Jennie (Purdel) Goryl. Lorraine retired as the owner and operator of the former Staffordville Insurance Company. She was a member of St. Edward Parish, former Registrar of Voters for the Town of Stafford, former member of the St. Edward's Ladies Guild, and member of Court Isabella #789 Catholic Daughters of America. She also enjoyed gardening, painting, and especially loved her home in West Hyannis Port, Cape Cod, MA. Lorraine is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Thaddeus R. 'Ted' Satkowski of Staffordville, CT; a son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Richard T. and Lucie Satkowski of Holland, MA; a daughter and son-in-law, Lynn F. (Brennan) Pariseau and Steve Pariseau of Westfield, MA; three grandchildren, Krysta Anderson of Springfield, MA, Philip Satkowski of Bridgeport, CT, and Laura Satkowski of Holland, MA; a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Dante Beffa Negrini of Staffordville, CT; a brother, Robert Goryl of Colchester, CT; and several cousins. A funeral will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2006, with a procession forming at 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
