Louis Abatte's Obituary
Louis Richard Abatte, 79, of Lakeshore Blvd., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of the late Angelo and Mary (Sicuranza) Abatte. Louis was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, and worked as a lead man at Kaman Aerospace. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sandra (Young) Abatte; two daughters, Laura Panciera, and Gina Herring and her husband Michael; and three grandchildren, Michael and Christopher Panciera, and Sarah Herring. Funeral services with burial in Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield, CT, will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to Foodshare, 450 Woodland Ave., Bloomfield, CT 06002.
