Louis S. Niewinski's Obituary
Louis S. Niewinski, 89, of Stafford Springs, CT, husband of the late Lorena (Legault) Niewinski, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Evergreen Health Care Center. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Felix and Alexandra (Marcyk) Niewinski. Louis served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and retired as a machinist from Acromold. He is survived by his two sons, Gerald S. Niewinski and his companion Donna Strouse, and Michael “Mick” Niewinski and his wife Martha; three grandchildren, Gerald S. Niewinski, Jr. and his wife Meg, Nikki Niewinski, and Ryan Niewinski; great grandson, Derek Hagenow; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Tina Niewinski; a brother; and two sisters. A calling hour will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 9-10 A.M. with a funeral service to take place at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
