Louise Julian's Obituary
Louise R. Julian, 99, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Joseph and Celerina (Bettini) Julian. For many years she was employed at Stafford Printers and American Steel in Willimantic. Louise enjoyed many trips in the United States and abroad. She was also an avid gardener and took pleasure in restoring old furniture. She was especially happy doing volunteer work at the Borough and Witt schools where she worked with students. She was a member of St. Edward Parish, St. Edward Ladies Guild, charter member of the Italian Benefit Society Ladies Auxiliary, Stafford Senior Center, and the Stafford Historical Society. Louise is survived by her loving sister, Lena Kurek and her husband Frank; nephews Jimmy Julian and his wife Heidi, and Jerry Julian and his wife Penny; great nephews Jimmy and Jeremy Julian; great niece Janice Julian; and many wonderful friends. She was predeceased by three brothers, Aldo, Hugo, and Peter; a sister, Rose; and sister-in-law Lucy. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 from 8:30-9:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT.
