Mae A. Belcher's Obituary
Mae A. (VanKleeck) Belcher, 79, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Burton “Bill” Belcher, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at home. She was born in Springfield, MA, daughter of the late Charles and Virginia (Avery) VanKleeck. Mae retired from the Staffordville Post Office where she was Assistant Postmaster. She was a member of the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Mae is survived by her three children; Joseph D. Desloge and his wife Sherry, Dorothy A. Brisard and her husband Bob, and Thomas D. Desloge and his wife Janice; seven grandchildren, Jason, Sarah, Matthew, Donald, Nathan, Megan and Joey; nine great grandchildren, Jason Jr., David, Claire, Lauren, Sophia, Zoe, Riley, Jack and Grey; three siblings, Carol Bunker, Helen Ranta and David VanKleeck; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Donald Desloge; and sister Alice Spallacci. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
