Marcellin Pincince's Obituary
Marcellin J. 'Marcy' 'Bear' Pincince, 86, of Green St. Stafford Springs, CT, beloved husband for 53 years of the late Esther L. 'Esta' (Quarti) Pincince, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT, with his family by his side. He was born in St. Marcel, Canada, son of the late Deus and Louise Pincince. Marcy was a graduate of Monson High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the World War II Pacific Theater. Prior to retirement, Marcy was a longtime employee of Kaman Aircraft, and then Beaureguard Corporation as a display woodworker. He was a member of St. Edward Parish, honorary life member of the Italian Benefit Society, and member of the Stafford Senior Center. His pride and joy were his five grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking. Marcy was an avid fan of the UCONN Huskies and Boston Red Sox. He also enjoyed his trips to the casinos. Marcy is survived by his three children, Lou Ann Tucker and her husband Tom of Vernon, CT, Elaine Boldi and her husband Marty of Stafford Springs, CT, and Lary Pincince and his wife Carla of Stafford Springs, CT; five grandchildren, Kristen and Karen Tucker, and Marcie, Corinna, and Kyle Boldi; his sister, Fernande Quarti of Monson, MA; and several nieces, nephews, and godchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Raymond Pincince. The family would like to thank Dr. Carlson and the staff at Evergreen Health Care Center and Johnson Memorial Hospital for the care they gave during Marcy's illness. His funeral will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008, with a procession forming by 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
