Margaret (Chow) Perry's Obituary
Margaret "Elsie" (Chow) Perry, age 84, of Ashford, CT, wife of the late Oliver H. Perry, died Monday, July 30, 2012 at her home after a brief illness. She was born in China and came to Connecticut 70 years ago with her husband. She leaves four loving daughters, Marianne Salas and her husband Peter of FL, Linda Navin and her husband Patrick of CT, Naomi Perry and her husband Mudassar Imran of VA, and Caroline Graham and her husband Andy of MA; seven grandchildren, Alex Seretny, Benjamin Seretny, Christine Ward and her husband Ronald, Catie Perkins and her husband Michael, George Graham, Jeremy Graham, and Adam Mudassar Imran; and three great grandchildren, Ivee Kalina Seretny, Augustus Ward, and Finley Perkins. Margaret worked for the State of Connecticut in the Department of Public Works for over 20 years. She loved spending time with her family and the friends that she made at the Ashford and Mansfield Senior Centers. She was an active and accomplished bridge player and started and organized the Ashford Senior Bridge Club. Funeral services and burial in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately. Memorial contributions in Margaret's name may be made to the Ashford Senior Center, 25 Tremko Lane, Ashford, CT 06278 (please make checks payable to "ASCO").
