Margaret M. Dean's Obituary
Margaret M. Dean “Micki”, 70, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 after a valiant near-lifelong battle with multiple sclerosis. She was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Robert and Eunice (Baggs) Dean. She loved animals, growing up around horses and dogs, but had a tremendous love of cats. She was an avid supporter of ASPCA, and loved to visit the cat rescues. You could almost guarantee she’d send a card with a cat on it for almost any occasion! She also loved to shop, and had the closets of clothes and shoes to show for it. Micki is survived by her loving partner, Chris Welti; daughter, Stephanie Malia; two grandsons, Evan and Ryan Malia; siblings, Bob and Nancy Dean; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Walter Dean. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
