Margaret "Peggy" Mihaliak's Obituary
Margaret “Peggy” Mihaliak, 67, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away on May 1, 2025 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. She was born in Stafford, daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Emhoff) Mihaliak. Peggy grew up in Willington and is survived by her two sisters, Barbara Posocco and her husband Bruce, and Jane DeMilia and her husband Rocco; three aunts, Anna Favreau, Margaret Harrison and Mildred Wajdula; one niece; four nephews; and many cousins and friends. An avid reader, Peggy belonged to many book clubs and enjoyed watching horse races, always picking her favorite horse to win. Funeral services with burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Visiting Nurse & Health Services of CT, 8 Keynote Dr., Vernon, CT 06066.
