Christel, it has been a year since I last saw you and your mother. Maria was on her feet, smiling, looking young and beautiful. That is how I will remember your mother... a big heart, a warm smile and many, many years of being a true friend to my mother.
Maria will be remembered fondly by many.
Christel, I'm so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a favorite here in the neighborhood for her good cheer. She was very sharp minded and wanted to stay that way. We will miss her here when it gets warm enough to be outside and visit. Poor Bette misses her so much already. I wish you and your sister and son well. Maria was so proud of Luke.
