Marie-Jose Pharmer's Obituary
Marie-Jose Zugeber Pharmer, 83, of Storrs, CT, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011 at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT. She was born in Mons, Belgium, daughter of the late Joseph and Lambertine (Meunier) Defauwes. Marie had worked in dining services at the University of Connecticut for over 25 years, and was a faithful member of St. Jude Parish. She is survived by her husband, Aubrey L. Pharmer, Sr.; two daughters, Pamela Lewis and her husband Allan, and Paula Miglionico and her husband Chuck; four grandchildren, C.J., Angela, and Ashley Miglionico, and Joseph Lewis; son-in-law, David Miesterling; and three step children and their families, Jeannine Steniger, Keith Pharmer, and Aubrey L. “Verne” Pharmer, Jr. She was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Zugeber; and a daughter, Patricia Miesterling. Calling hours are on Monday from 6-8 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 12 Noon at St. Jude Church, Old Farms Rd., Willington, CT (please meet at the church). Burial will be in Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington, CT at a later date.
