Marie "Lana" Kology's Obituary
Marie “Lana” Kology, 79, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on September 14, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Meylan and Freda (Thibodeau) Marden. Marie loved working in her yard and took pride in keeping it up. She also loved bowling and met many new friends along the way. Her biggest love was her four grandchildren, Jake, Jeff, Jr., Trent, and Riley. She was so proud of their accomplishments. She rarely missed any ball games, school events, or gatherings. She was known to all as “Paw”. Marie is survived by her three sons, Rick and wife Kim, Peter, and Jeff and wife Brenda; two brothers, Joe Marden and Lanny Marden; one sister, Aloma Clark; and her extended family, Victor Marden and wife Bev. She would like to thank all of her friends for the cards, flowers and prayers she received, and a special thank you to her friend, Gail Giglio, for all of the wonderful care she gave to her.
