Marilyn Landry's Obituary
Marilyn Lucille (Bailey) Szostecki-Landry, of Woodstock, CT, age 74, died peacefully on November 1, 2013 at Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in New Britain, CT, on April 8, 1939, daughter of the late William W. Bailey, Sr. and Arline M. Fay. She was predeceased by both her first and second husbands, Henry Szostecki and Robert Landry, as well as two younger brothers, Richard Bailey and Donald Bailey. Marilyn was an employee of Aetna Life and Casualty for many years and enjoyed painting, going to the theater, Elvis, and anything Hawaiian. She is survived by three brothers, William W. Bailey, Jr. of Bristol, CT, David P. Bailey of Eloy, AZ, Gerald A. Bailey of Bucksport, ME; three sisters, Suzanne E. Dimlow of Melbourne, FL, Elizabeth L. Hungerford of Pomfret, CT, and Norma-Jean Posocco of Willington, CT; and by several nieces and nephews. A memorial service in celebration of Marilyn's life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 2:30 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. The family would like to thank the staff at Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation for all the care and comfort they provided to Marilyn during her last three years.
