Marion Simon's Obituary
Marion E. Simon, 83, of Stafford Springs, CT, loving wife of the late James J. Simon, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Blair Manor, Enfield, CT. She was born in Providence, RI, daughter of the late William and Winifred (Newton) Wright. Marion worked as a cashier at the former A & P Company in Stafford. She was also a member of St. Edward Parish. Marion is survived by her son, Donald Simon; her special niece and caretaker, Laurie (Golas) Whitmarsh and her husband John; and other extended family members. She was predeceased by five brothers and two sisters. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
