Marion E. (Lavaway) Wierzbowski, 59, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away peacefully in her home on October 11, 2020. Born on September 24, 1961, daughter of the late Franklin and Patricia Lavaway, she was raised in Enfield, CT. Ma Read Obituary
Even though it’s been decades since Marion and I have been in touch I was saddened to learn of her passing. We worked together at the Terrace Room ages ago. I will always remember her as a gentle soul with a kind heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and close friends.
I will miss this smiling face and your friendship. You left us so much to remember you by.

I have recently heard of Marion 's passing, and immediately brought back to the early 70's. A carefree time to be a kid in the Harvest road neighborhood. We worked, for Buttons flower farm on Elm st.at the tender age of 12. Shared our first boy crushes.. And her uncle from Maine tried his best to teach us martial arts in the cold garage barefooted! May you rest in peace old neighbor..to your brothers and sisters I leave my condolences.

I just heard of Mimi’s passing. I didn’t know she was known as Mimi. I still remember young Marion with the blue glasses. But I was fortunate to have met her again once at my class reunion six years ago when she attended with Debbie. It was so much fun to meet two lovely women I grew up with but hadn’t seen in decades. My sympathies to her family and friends. God called one of his angels home.
I was so sad to hear about Marion's passing. I will always remember her sitting on her bed reading a book and eating snacks. I enjoyed seeing her when I was hanging out with her sister, my dear friend Debbie. She was always smiling and laughing. She was certainly a good friend to many and loved by them all. I am sending hugs to her family and especially to Debbie. May you find comfort in the love that Marion has given to all of you!!

I will never forget Mimi. I met her in the 80's while working with Debbie at Enfield Day Care. Debbie and I have remained friends and so I was lucky to see Mimi again here and there over the years. She was the bartender at my 2nd wedding in 2008. Mimi was always smiling and laughing. Happy to have known her. My heart goes out the family-especially Debbie. I know how close you two were.
