Marjorie M. Bouthillier's Obituary
Marjorie M. (Perkins) Bouthillier, 96, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 26, 2026 with her family at her side. She was born in Windsor Locks, CT, daughter of the late David and Leona (Fisher) Perkins. She spent many years working as a cook at Mansfield Training School and Evergreen Health Care Center. Marjorie was a member of St. Edward Church, where she was active for many years with the Ladies Guild and the Rosary Group. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, caning and spending time with family, especially going out to Sunday Brunch every week after Church. She also enjoyed needlework, baking, playing piano, drawing and traveling. Marjorie is survived by her six children, Marie Scott and her husband Stephen, Therese McPherson, George F. Bouthillier, III, David Bouthillier, Daniel Bouthillier, and Matthew Bouthillier and his wife Sue Ellen; 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Marilyn Houghton. She was predeceased by her husband, George F. Bouthillier, Jr.; brother, David Perkins; and sister, Eunice Sherbino. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT.
