Marjorie House's Obituary
Marjorie House, 76, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015. She was born in New Britain, CT, daughter of the late Lester and Arlene (Fancher) Johnson. Marjorie retired from the State of Connecticut Department of Corrections as a secretary. She is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Kenneth House; three children, Donna Nethercott, Marlene Brown, and George Brown and his wife Erin; five grandchildren, Ronald, Crystal, Thomas, Tracey, and David; four step children, Tammy LaPlante, Robert House, Kimberley Fontaine and her husband Stuart, II, and Matthew House; eleven step grandchildren, Darrin, Jessica, Bobby, Olivia, Dylan, Cody, Rachel, Daniel, Phoebe, Lindsey, and Daniel; six step great grandchildren; four siblings, Gary Johnson and his wife Lucy, Judy Galonia, Sharon Paul, and David Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Bonnie O’Connell; and step grandson, Ryan. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 1-3 P.M. with a funeral service to take place at 3 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately at a later date. Marjorie's family will receive friends and relatives at a potluck reception immediately following the services at the Somers Knights of Columbus hall, 236 Main St., Somers, CT.
