Mark H. Wright's Obituary
Mark H. Wright, 66, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 after battling cancer. He was born in Willimantic, CT, son of the late Norman and Eleanor (MacFadden) Wright on February 6, 1956. He was an avid gardener, Red Sox fan, enjoyed golf and riding his Harley. He loved family gatherings, especially spending time with his grandchildren. He graduated from Windham Technical High School and was a star football player. He retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft after 47 years and worked on the Raptor and Joint Strike Fighter engines. Mark is survived by his son, Nick Wright and his wife Ashley, son, Lucas Wright, and grandchildren, Michael and Melanie. He was predeceased by his brother, Donald Wright, and is survived by his brother, Clayton Wright and his wife, Shirley, sister, Sharon Glass, and brother, Todd Wright and his wife, Joyclyn. He also leaves behind nieces and nephew, Shari Frerich, Kimberly Law, Donald Glass, Jr., Laurie Glass, Julie Wright, Crystal Wright, Amber Glass, and numerous grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Special thanks to his friends in AA, niece, Laurie Glass, and Diane Wright for aid in life care. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 5-7 P.M., with a memorial service to take place at 7 P.M., at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741, or to a local AA program.
